Epic Games Video Production Team is looking for a smart, creative CG Generalist Intern to join them for summer 2020. Our Interns are given challenging projects over the work term, and are provided with a meaningful experience with high expectations for performance. This team is responsible for enhancing and maintaining core systems of Unreal Engine 4, as well as optimize them for multiple platforms. You will work directly with the brightest technical minds in the business as we build the premier game engine for a multitude of platforms.
Lighting sets, characters, and key art in game and cinematics.
Working closely with Art Directors, Lighting leads, Environment artists.
Work and collaborate with artists on scene composition as it relates to lighting.
Deliver material within tight deadlines.
Creating beauty character renders.
Candidates will be required to provide a portfolio of relevant work. If you do not submit a portfolio your application will not be reviewed.
Unreal Engine experience.
Experience using MAYA and other CG software.
Nuke experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of lighting and scene composition.
Able to take direction, be organized, and communicate between all departments.
Work closely with directors and producers within set deadlines.
This is a paid internship, running Summer 2020. All candidates must be eligible to work 40 hours per week on site in Cary. Intern recruitment for summer 2020 roles will run through February 2020, or until teams find an ideal match.
